Hey Tim, – appreciate your review! I’ve tested this in a lot of trucks and it’s designed with a very precise fit. Some have fit tighter than others, but they all went down all the way when pressed. What I think happens is 2) some of the pockets warp slightly over time in the heat, or 2) there’s a hair of manufacturing variance, or maybe both. This means that the insert just needs pressed down with some force to go all the way in. Please give that a try. Thanks and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything!

The only issue I am still working through is a small amount of shaking while driving. The mount itself attaches well, but with my current factory setup there is still some movement coming from the stock third brake light area above the spare tire, which makes the image in the rearview mirror look a little shaky on the road. Even with that, I do think this is a quality product and a very smart design.

I also reached out to Crossroads 3D on Etsy, and they responded promptly with helpful ideas, which I appreciated. I am currently trying a few things on my end to reduce the vibration, and I have every intention of finding a way to make it work. Once I get that shaking resolved, I am confident this will be the perfect product to pair with my Wolfbox G900 Pro rear camera system.

Even with this issue, I would still recommend this product to other Jeep drivers looking for a clean way to mount a Wolfbox rear camera.
