Score back of plate with razor knife and gentle push, knockout pops right out. Harder to cut hole in dash than switch plate. I believe if you cut the dash a little on the sloppy side, the switch plate will hide it with no one the wiser. Until you remove switch ate. Very happy with my purchase and it gives a factory clean look.

It was easy to attach with the included plastic rivets and the knock-outs were a perfect fit for adding rocker switches and device charging ports. My light and horn kit included a small horn button, so I drilled a small hole in the panel to accommodate that. I would have preferred a rocker switch, but I wasn’t sure how to change it. The price was a bit steep for a piece of plastic, but the finished look of my installation was worth it to me.

Looks much nicer than just cutting holes. Followed directions so not to drill too big of holes in dash. Happy customer.

I used it to mount a bracket for my handheld GMRS radio. They were easy to work with, made good suggestions and provided a exactly what I wanted and detailed instructions how to install it!
